Welcome to the journal and blog for Annapurna Blues.
These days writing a book is only half of the job. The other half is selling it and promoting it. My least favorite thing but a necessary task.
Truth be known, I am not interested in selling Nepal or soliciting people to go on a trek. I had my fill of that thirty years ago. My goal was to write a story that painted a picture of what adventure was all about nearly a half a century ago.
Covid has slowed the release of this book for all kinds of reasons, but it is not a happy tale in the first place.
